Our Partners
CAMC, lke Coventry University, is committed to our city and our region. Our researchers and students actively work in partnership with Coventry’s museums, galleries and heritage sites as well as fostering community health, mobility and access to creative and cultural productions. Our innovative research is playing a central role in Coventry's celebration as the UK's 2021 City of Culture. Projects, exhibitions and performances organised with external partners invigorate the research activities of both staff and PhD candidates.
While working to enrich our local communities, CAMC is equally invested in the global reach of our research. Our partners are spread throughout the UK and across Europe and North America, and our activities have included major funded research projects, exhibitions and curatorial partnerships, collaborative doctoral training programmes and international conferences.
Our co-sponsored PhD studentships allow students to work with partners in the arts and industry beyond the university, and to gain valuable experience in cultural and practical research as it moves into the public sphere. CAMC’s uniquely interdisciplinary focus promotes a vital sharing of methods, approaches and viewpoints that enrich every student’s experience, while within specialised disciplines they develop expertise within an environment of collegiality that is unsurpassed.
