Coventry University’s Centre for Global Learning: Education and Attainment (GLEA) offers to design and deliver a series of virtual workshops and consultations (a Capacity-Building Sprint) aimed to accelerate the progress and productivity of Early-Career Researchers (ECRs) from the South-East Asia Region with their writing for publication outputs and funding bids.

Modernity and Disability: Ensuring Quality Education for Disabled Students (MUSE)

The overall objective of the MUSE project is to improve access, ensure learning conditions and develop employment opportunities for HEIs’ Disabled Students in Latin American countries via modern inclusion practices and networking. The three Latin American countries involved in are Chile, Mexico and Argentina, with the support of institutions in EU (UK, Spain, Italy and Greece).

Democratising Agricultural Research in Europe, or D.A.R.E., is a project that brought together food producers, researchers and activists from Europe to share knowledge on participatory and transdisciplinary approaches to research in agriculture. Identification of novel double-stranded RNA elements in developing antibiotic resistance in the agricultural environment

The goal of the project is to identify and subsequently characterise the dsRNA dimension of the animal gut microflora (both the differential presence of antisense bound to mRNA and phage dsRNAs containing novel genetic information in response to AB pressure). Identification of novel functional dsRNAs (asRNA bound to its target and phage dsRNAs involved in AR) will mark a paradigm shift in our understanding of the development of AR and future approaches to treating infections.

Delivering Excellent Care Every Day for People Living with Advanced Dementia: Namaste Care Intervention UK (2016-19) is led by the Association for Dementia Studies at the University of Worcester & focuses on developing the optimal every-day care intervention for people with advanced dementia in care homes based on the principles of Namaste Care developed by Joyce Simard.

Through in-depth interviews with three fundamental groups in the democratic process, the media, government and community representatives, this project aims to produce new insight into trust in Northern Ireland.

The proposed research builds on the collaboration between the Centre for Trust Peace and Social Relations (CTPSR) of Coventry University (UK) and the International Organization for Migration Indonesia (IOM).
