What is Erasmus?

Erasmus is a European project that allows University students to take part in an exchange programme and provides funding to help support and encourage students to take part in this fantastic programme. All students who have successfully completed 2 years at Coventry University can go on a year-abroad placement.

Opportunity availability is dependent on the UK’s position on the Erasmus+ programme with regards to exiting the European Union.

What options are there?

You have the choice of either of the following options:

Erasmus gives you the opportunity to study at a partner university for a full-academic year.

  • Spend between three months to twelve months in a university or enterprise in a European country
  • Students are eligible for a free online language course of their choice with Linguae Mundi
  • Erasmus study is accredited by the University
  • Students who go away for a full academic year are exempt from paying their tuition fees.
Work

Erasmus gives you the opportunity to complete a work placement for a full-academic year.

  • The minimum allowed period for a placement is two months, or one academic year, and the maximum is 12 months
  • Students are eligible for a free online language course of their choice with Linguae Mundi
