Funders
Our research funding comes from a wide range of sources, including UK Local Government Authorities, UK research councils, the European Union, national governments, the British Council, and a host of foundations, community and special interest organisations and charities based around the world.
CBiS staff also support funders as members of their advisory boards and as expert reviewers on funding bids.

Partners
We are proud to work with partners worldwide who share our vision in seeking to promote responsibility, to change behaviours, and achieve better outcomes for economies, societies and individuals. We believe we are more effective when we work with others to collectively generate knowledge, informed by local context and understandings.
Our partners are academic institutions, national and local governments, NGOs, charities and community groups. We work with partners at all levels, from undertaking fieldwork with grassroots community organisations to supporting national and international policy-makers with evidence-based knowledge to inform their approaches.
Our network of partners is growing all the time, as new projects generate new contacts and connections. We welcome conversations with individuals and organisations who have the potential to join and contribute to our global community.
