Research and knowledge exchange under this theme is carried out with and alongside colleagues in the Centre for Arts, Memory and Communities (CAMC). The Research Theme is led by Professor Louise Moody, Director of CAMC.

Theme overview

In ‘Creative Economies for Health and Wellbeing’ we take an interdisciplinary combination of research approaches in order to co-create and investigate how culture and creativity can address strategic priorities to reduce health inequalities, improve health and wellbeing and help people to live independently for longer.

Key Researchers

Professor Louise Moody

Louise Moody is the director of the Centre for Arts, Memory and Communities and Professor of Health Design and Human Factors. Her research is focuses on the design, development and evaluation of products, interventions and services to benefit health and wellbeing.
