Gustavo Fijalkow

Primarily trained as a dance, Gustavo spent about fifteen years predominantly rehearsing and performing dance. Eventually his creative interest started to shift from pure dance to more experimental, performance-related formats.

As the Creative Producer of a mixed-abled dance company, he carried out international projects in various African, South American and Asian countries, as well as in Germany. He co-established the pioneer German platforms for mixed-abled dance and curated these multidisciplinary festivals aiming at expanding the pre-eminent binomial discourse around ability/disability.
