My current research investigates the process of body immersion in place/s as practice as research (PaR). Inherent within this is how the body can integrate and enmesh with place, to facilitate intuitive and creative unfolding, in the process of making with place. This enquiry takes place at various outdoor places and places of significance, with the body senses informing the immersive process and subsequent emerging practices.

My experience is primarily in pedagogy, across many age groups, institutions and types and modes of delivery. My artistic work has developed alongside a passion for engaging and empowering people through dance, manifesting in a specific enquiry in outdoor dance practice. This has arisen from my experience of being trained in Laban’s principles and practice, and embodying the sheer joy of movement in and with the landscape. I continue to teach children, teenagers and adults in a variety of contexts for education, training and recreation.
