Study Games at Coventry

The West Midlands is responsible for 25% of the UK’s games output and is the fastest growing gaming talent pool outside of London. Situated in the heart of the region, Coventry University is next door to Leamington Spa (known as ‘Silicon Spa’), home to companies such as Codemasters, Exient, Ubisoft Leamington and  Playground Games. Titles to come out of Silicon Spa include Far Cry 5, Fable, Formula 1 and Forza Horizon.

Coventry University offers a suite of undergraduate and postgraduate courses designed to help launch and develop your career in the games industry. Whether your interests lay in games coding, design, development, animation or AR and VR, our courses offer you the opportunity to benefit from our industry links and take your career to the next level.

More than just a degree

The course definitely prepared me for the work I am doing right now. It taught me a lot, creating assets and environments. I can comfortably create my own scenes from my imagination.
