Coventry University's very own specialist equipment loan shop for both students and staff, with equipment ranging from the most basic audio recorders, to a highly professional camera line up, where staff are on hand to give technical advice and instructions for ease of use and build lasting relationships throughout the University. 

What can students do here?

Students can collect equipment and certain room keys, which are all booked online. Technical assistance with MLS equipment, advice and information is also available here.

How does the School of Media and Performing Arts use the studios?

The Media Loan Shop is an integral role in providing an equipment hire facility, technical assistance and equipment for installations etc. / some room bookings.

What equipment/software is available for students to use?

There is a large range of equipment from basic to professional cameras, tripods, audio recorders, lights, etc. but no software.

How do students interact with the facility?

We at the MLS get to know the students well, and are often their first point of contact (almost frequent) - mostly in person, but also via Facebook, phone and e-mail.
