Our services available to you aim to enable you to stand out and succeed beyond graduation.
As a postgraduate student you will be offered the opportunity to apply for a postgraduate consultancy project or work experience opportunity*. This could add value to your CV once you graduate and may even help to secure you a full-time role in employment.
Employment Personal Tutor
On arrival you will be allocated an Employment Personal Tutor (EPT). They will be on hand to offer guidance about work placements and consultancy projects*, CV and application checks, interview and networking tips and information about any employment and networking events.
The support provided by the EPT complements the more general careers support from the University Careers Service
*Please note that work placement and consultancy projects (whether in the UK or abroad) may be subject to additional fees, application processes, obtaining relevant visas and in some instances there may be a limited number of spaces available.
Work Experience
A number of postgraduate courses within the Faculty of Business and Law offer students the chance to further enhance their employability by undertaking an extended professional experience of up to 12 months. This self-sourcing opportunity could put you one step ahead when applying for jobs.*
