Clive is responsible for developing, refining, and updating the Group strategy; for positioning strategic insight, market intelligence and external policy in the context of the Group strategy; for ensuring the alignment of theme strategies and business plans with the Group strategy and for leading the design and implementation of future strategies.

He manages the services and functions which bring together risk, compliance, legal, governance support, planning and insight in order to provide a single point of service to the Board of Governors. Clive is a double graduate of Coventry University and has a background in enterprise, innovation, and regional economic development.
