The QS World University Rankings are one of the most widely recognised global league tables, assessing more than 1,500 universities each year across areas including academic and employer reputation, research, employment outcomes and international engagement.
QS assesses universities using performance data alongside obtaining the views of academics and employers worldwide. Gathered through the QS Global Academic Survey and QS Global Employer Survey, these reputation indicators account for 45% of the overall score.
These rankings influence how universities are perceived by prospective students, employers, academics and the wider higher education community around the world.
How you can get involved
- QS Academic Survey
If you work in academic research or teaching at a higher education or research institution, you are eligible to take part in the academic survey.
- QS Employer Survey
If you are involved in recruitment or hiring decisions within your organisation, you are eligible to take part in the employer survey.
Register your interest with Coventry University
If you are eligible to participate in either survey, you can register your interest by completing our QS World University Rankings Consent Form.

1. Register your interest by completing the Coventry University consent form.
2. Once registered, QS will contact you directly with a link to the survey.
3. Complete the QS survey you have registered for. QS will provide the instructions and you will receive up to three reminder emails to complete it before the survey deadline.

Your responses will be combined with those of other participants and used to inform the reputation measures in the QS World University Rankings, including global, regional, subject and programme rankings where applicable.
QS will not contact you for other purposes without additional or separate consent.
