In Coventry Business School the student experience extends past our teaching with the dedicated subject societies our students attend and even run!

Accounting and Finance Society 

Coventry University Accounting & Finance Society (CUAFS) is a student-led Society at Coventry University which aims to bridge the gap between academic studies and the professional world. Our activities prepare students for professional roles in the fields of accountancy, finance and banking.

Our society team members will receive an RBS ESSA certificate that they can use to demonstrate their achievements when approaching organisations for employment. The Society’s Committee will also get an opportunity to participate in the Annual RBS-ESSA event.

Business Society

The aim of the Business Society is to establish a  friendly and supportive environment for our members to improve their skills, help each other, network, and last but not least, have fun!

Economics Society 

We encourage our members to build on unconventional economic thinking with the help from guest speakers, debates, talks and workshops. As well as creating links with industry, we run an annual five-aside football tournament, work alongside the RAG society and hold fortnightly social events, which include our Christmas Dinner and Dance.

Financial Trading Society 

From refining mathematical skills to building relationships with prospective employers, the Financial Trading Society helps to develop your mind for working in the trading industry. Our society has access to the Trading Floor to enhance members understanding trading platforms.

Management Society 

It is recognised that Coventry University is continuing to build and expand on the successes of the Business School and we, the society, see an opportunity where by students can build and expand upon the academic content of their studies within a society. We wish to aid students throughout their academic journey by providing a society that brings not only their course content together but helps them to gain a better understanding of the managerial needs of current business.
