Academic Regulations

The Academic and General Regulations must be observed strictly. They are set with the approval of the Board of Governors and the Academic Board of Coventry University. The Board of Governors and the Academic Board reserve the right to introduce new Regulations or amend the existing Regulations at any time.

2017/18 version: The 2017/18 Regulations apply to students who first enrolled onto a course between August 2017 and July 2018.

2018/19 version: The 2018/19 Regulations apply to students who first enrolled onto a course between August 2018 and July 2019.

2019/20 version: The 2019/2020 Regulations apply to students who first enrolled onto a course between August 2019 and July 2020.

Section 7: Regulations for Taught Postgraduate Awards

These Regulations will be in force for returning postgraduate taught students enrolling from September 2017. 

Section 7a: Regulations for Taught Postgraduate Awards on the PGT Curriculum Framework 


Introduction, These Regulations provide a set of rules that must be applied when determining the basic requirements for the construction of courses and for entry, progression and the granting of the University's taught postgraduate awards on the PGT Curriculum Framework. These Regulations will apply to ALL new postgraduate taught students enrolling from September 2017 onwards.
