Student Experience

In the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health the student experience extends past our teaching with the dedicated subject societies our students attend and even run!

Midwifery Society

Our society unites our students and increases the pride and passion we feel for our course. The midwifery course has a high practical element so we provide a social touch point for our members to chat, raise awareness for maternity charities, film evenings and guest speakers.

Nursing Society

We provide support for the many nursing disciplines at Coventry University. We aim to enrich the learning environment for our members with study days and guest speakers, and we help everyone along their placement journey.

Occupational Therapy Society

We are passionate about having students from the different year groups mingle and have a laugh together, to get out there every now and again and tell others what OT is all about.

We run weekly drop in sessions – with tea, coffee and the occasional cake – and we have special events lined up OT week. To supplement our members learning, we are also linking up with the College of Occupational Therapy to look at OT in a broader sense outside the classroom.
