Undoubtedly, the experiences I have gained by pursuing this degree and the guidance of support staff and faculty have enabled me to achieve success both academically and professionally, resulting in a graduate role within a big four accountancy firm. I am eternally grateful to Coventry University and, in particular, those involved within my Finance course.
Jack Ballard, Finance Alumni and First class honours (Currently working at KPMG), 2024
We regularly review our course content, to make it relevant and current for the benefit of our students. For these reasons, course modules may be updated.
The course significantly enhanced my problem-solving skills, independently and within a team. Through collaborative projects, I developed strong interpersonal and communication skills, crucial in the finance industry. Utilising advanced statistical software such as SPSS and Gretl became second nature, aiding in data-driven decision-making. The use of cutting-edge digital facilities, like those in the Trading Floor, elevated my proficiency in navigating the digital landscape of modern finance.
Art Hoti, Finance Alumni, 2022
Finance is at the heart of every organisation so a good understanding is crucial no matter what career you decide to choose. At Coventry University, you will be taught by qualified academics and industry experts. We have the largest educational trading floor in Europe with over 40 terminals linked to Bloomberg so our students have access to the latest data and information to help them succeed.
Dr Aqsa Aziz, Senior Lecturer in Finance, 2024
Alongside the comprehensive education afforded by each module taught, you can benefit from the facilities and services the university offers. From the trading floor with Bloomberg terminals to the international collaboration in COIL projects, the personal growth and development opportunities that Coventry provides are, in my opinion, second to none.
