Working with the public and third sector
We believe that working with the public and third sector helps us to deliver high quality services and opportunities, to the most disaffected areas of society, finding innovative solutions and offering much needed services to support critical needs including access to education and employment.
The University worked with partners to donate, create, and deliver equipment and PPE to local partners in the fight to control COVID-19 in March-April 2020. The Coventry City based FabLab created and donated 900 PPE masks Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
Academic staff helped develop a rapid test to assess the effectiveness of stockpiled PPE, responding in days with high quality research to create life-saving results.
