Centre for Usable Home Technology

Centre for Usable Home Technology

At the Centre for Usable Home Technology (CUHTec) we conduct research, consultancy, training and provide guidance on the use of Assistive Technology (AT) in the home.

We run courses on all aspects of AT, telecare and telehealth, ranging from looking at how technology can support dementia sufferers and their carers in the community to developing strategies for digital services and considering how technology can overcome issues of social isolation.

We also host Regional Telecare Forums, which bring together our members to discuss areas of current interest within the AT, telecare and telehealth sectors.

As a member of CUHTec you will:

  • be the first to receive details on CUHTec courses and events;
  • be eligible for group/block booking discounted rates on the above;
  • receive the latest news from the world of AT, telecare and telehealth via the CUHTec newsletter.
