This project is a randomised controlled trial to evaluate the effectiveness of a reading intervention aimed at Key Stage 1 in primary schools, running from Sept 2014 – July 2016.
The project aims at leveraging photographic content in Europeana depicting the 1950s in Europe, connecting today’s citizens with the post-war generation whose dreams of a better life led to the establishment of the European Union.
