Research funding

Our approach to research is described in our Corporate Plan to 2021, with the ways we fund this research outlined in our Annual Report and Financial Statements

We deliver the research pillar of the Corporate Strategy through our dedicated Research Centres. These Centres seek to produce single discipline and multi-disciplinary research that will inform teaching, achieve niche dominance and, by working with Top 400 world-ranked universities, gain a global reputation.

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, rigour and excellence in all aspects of our research. Our Statement on Research Ethics underpins this approach and all research activities are governed in accordance with our Research Strategy.

Our current research work is described in the Directory of Projects.  The latest achievements and successes are published via our Research News listing
