To volunteer you can register your interest with us and we will keep you updated on how you can volunteer and get involved right now. You will also be the first to hear about the exciting new ways Coventry University Alumni are changing to provide opportunities for both our alumni and students.
Under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998 (“Act”) and General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (“GDPR”) Coventry University Group will process your personal data for the purpose of collecting and retaining your personal details as Coventry University Alumni and to have a continued relationship with you. We will share your data only within Coventry University Group and its relevant departments for the above purpose only. The personal data collected in this survey will be stored in Raiser’s Edge secure Coventry University database. We would like to retain your data on an ongoing basis to have a continued relationship with you, our Alumni, however if you would like to be removed from our database, please email our Alumni team [alumni@coventry.ac.uk]. Any personal data provided will not be shared with any 3rd parties without your consent, unless required by law. Under Data Protection you have the right to access information held about you, by making a data subject access request by contacting Data Protection Officer at dsar@coventry.ac.uk.
You also have the right to apply for erasure, rectification, withdrawal of consent, blocking, and destruction of inaccurate personal data relating to you from the University Group’s electronic and manual systems provided that the University does not have to retain the data for legal reasons.
