BioInMed and NatWest sign agreements which will bring new courses and experts to Coventry University Wrocław

New courses, lecturers and experts will be on offer for students at Coventry University Wrocław after the university forged new links with two companies in Poland.
The possibility of paid internships and collaborating on research and development projects are also on the table after Coventry University Wrocław signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with NatWest Group in Poland and a partnership agreement with the Board of the Polish Union of Innovative Medical Biotech Companies, known as BioInMed.
The news comes just weeks after the first ever graduation at Coventry University Wroclaw since the campus opened its doors in 2020. The university is the only one in the country where classes are conducted entirely in English, focusing on gaining work-ready skills but without traditional final examinations.
Medical biotechnology, the discovery and development of new drugs, therapies and diagnostic methods are extremely promising fields. The sector has been developing rapidly in Poland for about 15 years. More and more companies, research and development projects are being set up and they need specialists prepared to conduct these demanding projects.
In preparing graduates, it is particularly important to understand the needs and operating model of the business side. These elements are guaranteed by cooperation with BioInMed Union which brings together the largest Polish companies in the sector.

The university has awarded NatWest Group in Poland the title of 'Associate Partner' to the finance management and accounting courses taught at Coventry University Wrocław. The organisation has expressed its willingness to provide guest lectures based on its knowledge and business experience, as well as to supervise the final year students' theses.
In turn, as part of the co-operation with BioinMed, students will receive substantive support from outstanding experts in subjects such as applied cell biology, introduction to anatomy and physiology, advanced cellular and molecular biology, and pathophysiology. Trainings in the field of legal regulations regarding industrial pharmacology and immunopharmacology will also be organised.
All these activities are aimed at developing the competencies of Coventry University Wroclaw students to meet the needs of employers in the medical biotechnology industry in Poland and internationally.
