Students from across the creative disciplines at Coventry University showcased their work to the public at the annual Graduate Festival, celebrating emerging talent in art, design, fashion, media and architecture.

The week-long DOT DOT DOT festival welcomed visitors to explore exhibitions and live events across the university campus, highlighting the creativity, innovation and technical skills of final-year students from the School of Arts and Creative Industries.

The Graduate Festival has once again provided an exciting platform for our students to share their creative capabilities, innovation and ideas with the public and industry professionals.

The quality and diversity of work on display demonstrated the exceptional talent across our creative courses and reflects the collaborative and forward-thinking spirit of the School of Arts and Creative Industries.

Dozens of Industry professionals attended a special VIP event as part of the festival, an evening of talent spotting, networking, collaboration and celebration with students and partners. We were pleased to host the RIBA West Midlands Building of the Year awards in the Delia Derbyshire, last year’s winning building. Other Festival highlights included a wonderful exhibition celebrating the 20-year anniversary of our dynamic Fashion course alongside immersive audiovisual performances from Deliaphonic Immersive, featuring sets from DJ Food and VJ PuttyRubber.

The festival featured work from courses including Fine Art, Illustration, Graphic Design, Fashion, Games Photography, Product Design, Automotive and Transport Design, Fashion, Architecture, Interior Architecture and Film and Media Production.

Visitors had the opportunity to meet students behind the projects and experience a wide range of creative outputs, from large-scale sculpture and contemporary painting to digital storytelling, photography, architectural models and future-focused transport concepts.

Exhibitions and events took place across multiple locations on campus, transforming the university into a vibrant showcase of contemporary creative practice and giving students the opportunity to present their work to new audiences before beginning the next stage of their careers.

The 20 Years of Fashion Exhibition will be open in the Gallery until mid-July.
