Undergraduate Autonomous Sailing Challenge (UASC)
In May 2019, Coventry University worked alongside several other European universities to launch the UASC, a competition designed to encourage undergraduate students to get involved in Autonomous Sailing Boats.
The competition was based around a fixed 1m sailing boat class with a maximum spend per boat of €800. We were very successful in this competition and the experience gained has helped us prepare for the larger WRSC event in August.
