School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics

In the School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics we recognise the importance of developing a strong practical insight into the subject area of a degree, as well as a solid theoretical foundation.

We achieve this through an activity led learning approach, where academic knowledge is cemented by practical real world examples the students can explore on their own and in groups. Our teaching covers traditional courses such as Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, Computing and Computer Science, but also incorporates more specialised teaching such as Forensic Computing, Games Technology, Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity.
