Mark has spent a number of years teaching the fundamentals of financial and management accounting to a diverse cohort of students. It was at this time that he achieved the best results and value added performance in his region for the exam board. Prior to teaching he had five years working for a ‘Big 4’ professional services firm, principally as a corporate tax advisor for a number of large multinational groups across a range of industries including; Oil & gas, automotive and Pharmaceutical. During this time he achieved his Chartered Accounting status, and gained experience of audit and expatriate taxation. At university Mark studied Accounting and Finance, from where he had developed his interest in international taxation, and also won an academic prize for his business ideas in an entrepreneurship module sponsored by Deloitte.
