Dr. Stoyan Kurtev

Dr. Stoyan Kurtev holds a PhD degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany, a Master’s degree in Philosophy and Cognitive Science from Binghamton Univeristy, NY, USA and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the American University in Bulgaria. Prior to joining Coventry University he worked for over 3 years as a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Psychology at the University of Leicester, UK. He has co-authored a number of scientific articles published in high-impact journals, and has self-published a book (What is the World, Xlibris 2013) related to his personal interests in the deep philosophical questions of existence. He aims to extend these strands of academic output in the future and to establish himself as an accomplished researcher with substantial and recognised contribution to the scholarly body of knowledge.
