Hilary Nesi and Sheena Gardner receive funding from ESRC

Hilary Nesi and Sheena Gardner have received follow-on funding from the ESRC (ES/J010995/1, March 2012-February 2013) to draw on the original project findings and develop academic writing materials for the British Council Learn English website - see the Writing for a Purpose project blog. The British Council website is a source of information for English language learners worldwide. The academic writing section will be designed specifically for international students planning to study in the UK.
