A student using a computer wiring board

Eren's story

Eren is a real fan of computers. Seeing how the current times are moving towards a more digitally interactive period, he felt that coding would be the right path to follow, so he decided to choose the progression on to computer hardware and software engineering. He did a little HTML before, now he is learning CSS and Javascript.

We have a family friend who came to Coventry University to study. She did her master’s in business here and she enjoyed her experience so much that she’s actually working for the university.

Since I came here, everyone’s been easy-going. The teachers lay out all the material and everyone pays attention. They’re a lot more passionate and the learning is a lot more straightforward and clear compared to any of my previous study experience. Lessons are also recorded and uploaded online for me to refer back to. There are always teachers roaming around so if I have a question, I can signal someone and they’ll come and help with what I’m struggling with.

Student life in Coventry is nice, everything is nearby. The middle part of the city is where all of the shops are and it’s really convenient. I live in a student accommodation and it’s a 10-minute walk from campus. There are trains to everywhere so I could explore the UK more and go to concerts and events in London or Birmingham.
