Student-Led Tours

We offer regular visit opportunities to give you the chance to get a real feel for our city-centre campus, outstanding learning facilities and accommodation options, all led by one of our current students.

Tours take place on either a Wednesday or a Friday – so it’s normally busy enough for you to get a proper impression of the campus. They start at 11am, last for about 90 minutes and are followed by lunch on us in the Food Court. Please note, as it is a walking tour we advise wearing appropriate footwear.

If you can’t make any of the dates listed, please keep checking back on the booking form as we add new dates regularly.

What’s covered?

The tour is designed to give a general overview of the Coventry University campus. It doesn’t cover course or faculty-specific locations, although our staff and student guides will do all they can to answer any questions you may have about this. It includes:

Our modern multi-purpose students’ building TheHub provides space to relax, meet up with friends or study informally. Here you can find campus shops, Costa Coffee, the extensive Food Court and our new open-plan bistro, The Courtyard. The building also houses Students' Union offices, the careers department and the Health & Wellbeing Centre.

Square One

Located in TheHub this versatile space can be used as a cinema, club or entertainment venue but also hosts conferences, events and careers fairs.

Lanchester Library

The Lanchester Library provides over 1200 study spaces spread over five floors as well as group study rooms and access to thousands of books, journals and electronic resources. It’s also home to the student support centres we have for maths and academic writing, the postgraduate reading room and the Disruptive Media Learning Lab, which offers experimental learning spaces to inspire and challenge our students to think and act differently when studying.

Sport and Recreation Centre

The centrally-located Sport and Recreation Centre contains a fully equipped gym and fitness suite, two-court and four-court sports halls as well as a studio with regular dance and group exercise classes.

Student Accommodation

Coventry University has a varied selection of accommodation just a short walk from campus. You will have the opportunity to visit one of our halls of residence to get a flavour of what it’s like to live in halls and some of the facilities we make available to our students.

At the end of your tour you will be offered lunch in the Food Court of TheHub with your student guide and University staff so you have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
