Early career researchers at the Royal Geographical Society Conference

Early career researchers Dr Carlos Ferreira, Dr Jennifer Ferreira and Elizabeth Bos have all had papers accepted for the Royal Geographical Society – Institute of British Geographers Annual Conference held in London at the end of August 2014. Carlos is presenting on “Pluralities and performativities: the fractured economic geographies of biodiversity offset markets”; Jennifer on “Visualising the temporary staffing industry”; Lizzi on “Social Media, Reconnection and Alternative Food Networks”; and Jennifer will also be presenting at the Regional Studies Association Early Career Conference in Sheffield in October on “Exploring change in Local Enterprise Partnerships: evidence from the West Midlands”; and at an ESRC Seminar Series on the Regulation of Work and Employment, discussing “The changing regulatory mosaic of the temporary staffing industry in Europe”.
