The BES Faculty support targeted at developmental opportunities for early career researchers has paid off for Dr Carmela Bosangit. Having been supported by the Faculty to participate in the Regional Studies Association Network on Entrepreneurship, Gender and Structural Transformation as a network administrator, Carmela has now won two travel bursaries. One has come from the Regional Studies Association, which partially funded her attendance to a research seminar in Duisburg, Germany. The second travel bursary, from the Gender and Enterprise Network (part of the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship – ISBE) will allow Dr Bosangit to attend their upcoming workshop in Ulster. This funding is supported by the Society for Advancement of Management Studies (SAMS) and Ulster Business School. She receives a free workshop place, travel bursary for her flight and accommodation. Carmela greatly appreciates the support from the Faculty as she expands her research interest into this field.
