Coventry University has been named as one of the top 30 universities in the world for international students in the 2021 QS World University Ranking table.

The QS rankings rates universities based on measures such as academic reputation – including teaching and research quality – their global outlook, and how highly regarded the institution’s graduates are among employers.

The university has been recognised for its global reach, moving up four places to be ranked 29th in the international students metric, in rankings that measure how internationally attractive a university is to students.
Professor John Latham CBE, Coventry University Vice-Chancellor, spoke of his pride in the university’s international appeal and stressed the university’s commitment to its international and UK student community. This is particularly important as it continues to communicate with both future and current students amidst concerns over the current COVID-19 global pandemic.

I am delighted that the continued dedication of our staff to foster a global outlook has been recognised and received another boost from this highly-regarded league table.
We have students from more than 150 different nationalities studying at the Group's six campuses in Coventry, London and Scarborough.
Like all other universities, we face challenges due to the current global pandemic, but we are continuing to regularly communicate with our current and future students and we are committed to maintaining our global strength.

Coventry University is the highest-ranked modern university from the Post-1992 university group in the UK, to hold the five-star QS Stars rating, in the rankings that evaluate 1604 considered institutions across 84 locations.
That five-star award was gained in 2019 due to the university’s impressive work and factored in the superb teaching, employability, internationalisation, facilities, innovation and inclusiveness at the university.

To be the highest-ranked modern university with the five-star QS Stars rating validates the excellence Coventry University continues to achieve.
It highlights our growth as a university and with our TEF Gold standard teaching, we are determined to keep improving.
