The course will utilise a wide range of delivery mechanisms including use of the University’s online learning platform – CUOnline – to facilitate peer learning and communication with tutors outside the three day residential blocks.

Students will be encouraged to explore and assess other learning technologies as part of their studies.

Key aspects of the programme:

  • Location – Each module starts with a three day residential study block at Coventry University and guest host institutions. This gives exposure to a range of teaching spaces and educational contexts.
  • Delivery methods – The course will use and explore a variety of teaching practices, facilitate access to externals experts, and provide opportunities to reflect on practice and skills building.
  • Structures to support students – This will include online learning platforms, peer mentoring, and tutor support for development pledges and dissertation supervision.

This course will be assessed using a variety of methods which will could vary depending upon the module.

The Coventry University Group assessment strategy ensures that our courses are fairly assessed and allows us to monitor student progression towards the achieving the intended learning outcomes. Assessments may include exams, individual assignments or group work elements.

Each module will commence with a three day residential block at Coventry or a guest host institution. Self-directed learning also forms a vital element of all modules.

International experts will input into the programme where possible. There is also scope for students to set their own learning agendas through the pledges they make and these can include an international element.
