You can apply through Clearing if: • you’re applying after 30 June • you didn’t receive any offers (or you got offers that you don’t want to accept) • you didn’t meet the conditions of your offers • you’ve declined your firm place in your UCAS Hub .

How do I know if I am eligible?

• If you apply to us after 30 June 2025 (the last standard UCAS application date) then you’ll automatically be applying through Clearing. • If you apply to us before 30 June but don't receive any offers, then your UCAS Hub account will tell you if you’re eligible.

Can international students apply through Clearing?

Yes. You can apply to study at Coventry University as a non-UK resident. Take a look at our Clearing guide for more info.

Will I be treated differently if I come through Clearing?

Not at all. Students who join us through Clearing will start their course in September 2025 with the same treatment and quality of teaching as all other students.

How do I know if I have the right grades for Clearing?

You can use UCAS points calculator to help find out what your grades are worth. If you don't have enough points to start your degree this September it’s worth exploring the option to study a Foundation Year . Many students choose this route as successful completion enables you to meet the entry requirements of the relevant degree.

What is Clearing?

Clearing is the UCAS process that helps students find university places on courses that still have availability. You can use Clearing if:

you haven't applied to university for his September
you didn’t receive any offers for the courses you applied for
your results mean you didn’t meet the conditions of your offer(s)
you don’t want to accept the offer(s)
you’ve had you’ve changed your mind about where or what you want to study.
