Alma Building

This striking red building is a short walk from the main city centre. It is home to the Estates Department and Digital Services.

You’re only likely to visit the Alma Building if you’re dropping off or collecting a computer, laptop, or other device that needs fixing. Behind the large roller shutter door, Digital Services staff work to ensure all your IT equipment and software such as Microsoft 365, are fit for purpose.

The Estates Department delivers professional health and safety, environmental, property and facilities services, which include cleaning, energy management, protection services, access and grounds maintenance among others.

Both departments ensure that staff, students and visitors to all sites in the Group benefit from an efficient, fully equipped, accessible experience.
