We are active members of a range of Brussels-based networks and associations.
EU Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN)
EBN is a network of about 140 quality-certified EU|BICs (business and innovation centres) and 40 other organisations that support the development and growth of innovative entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs. EBN is also a community of professionals whose day-to-day work helps these businesses grow in the most effective, efficient and sustainable way.
EIT Digital Knowledge & Innovation Community (KIC)
EIT Digital is a leading European digital innovation and entrepreneurial education organisation driving Europe’s digital transformation. Its way of working embodies the future of innovation through a pan-European ecosystem of over 200 top European corporations, SMEs, startups, universities and research institutes. It is a place for students, researchers, engineers, business developers and entrepreneurs to collaborate in an open innovation setting.
EIT Raw Materials Knowledge & Innovation Community (KIC)
EIT Raw Materials is the largest consortium in the raw materials sector worldwide. Its vision is to develop raw materials into a major strength for Europe. Its mission is to enable sustainable competitiveness of the European minerals, metals and materials sector along the value chain by driving innovation, education and entrepreneurship. Partners of EIT Raw Materials collaborate on finding new, innovative solutions to secure the supplies and improve the raw materials sector in Europe.
European Factories of the Future Research Association (EFFRA)
An industry-driven, non-for-profit association, EFFRA promotes the development of new and innovative production technologies. Its key objective is to promote pre-competitive research on production technologies within the European Research Area by engaging in a public-private partnership with the European Union called ‘Factories of the Future’.
European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL)
ENoLL is the international federation of benchmarked Living Labs in Europe and worldwide. It provides co-creation, user engagement, test and experimentation facilities targeting innovation in many different domains such as energy, media, mobility, healthcare and, agrifood.
European Policy Centre (EPC)
The EPC is an independent, not-for-profit think tank dedicated to fostering European integration through analysis and debate, supporting and challenging decision makers at all levels to make informed decisions based on evidence and analysis, and providing a platform for engaging partners, stakeholders and citizens in EU policy making and in the debate about the future of Europe.
European Regions Research & Innovation Network (ERRIN)
ERRIN is a well-established, Brussels-based platform of more than 125 regional stakeholder organisations from 22 European countries. It focuses on research and innovation policy and funding programmes, as well as project development. Members of ERRIN are mainly regional authorities, universities, research organisations, chambers of commerce, and clusters.
European University Association (EUA)
Representing more than 800 universities and national rectors’ conferences in 48 European countries, EUA plays a crucial role in the Bologna Process and in influencing EU policies on higher education, research and innovation. The Association enables members to share best practices by participating in projects, events and other mutual-learning activities involving a wide range of universities. It also provides members with opportunities to shape European policies and initiatives affecting higher education and research.
Friends of Europe
Through publications, debates and online engagement, Friends of Europe provides the bridge between policy makers and those who experience the implementation and impact of policy making, including citizens, the business community and wider civil society.
UK Research Office (UKRO)
UKRO is a European office of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). It delivers a subscription-based advisory service for research organisations and provides National Contact Point services on behalf of the UK Government. UKRO’s mission is to maximise UK engagement in EU-funded research, innovation and higher education activities.
Universities Informal Liaison Offices Network (UnILiON)
UnILiON is an informal network of liaison offices representing universities based in Europe, Japan and Russia. The network represents an arena of exchange where the participants share information, nurture collaboration and act as information multipliers towards the represented organisations.
