Playing sport while you study
Sport is a big part of George’s life, so his Business Management degree had to fit around fixtures. He’s a passionate rugby player at home on the field.
The sports and leisure village near campus is useful, with a gym for him to use after class. The structured timetable means he always knows when he needs to study. It makes scheduling training, fixtures and travel easy.
George has come to CU Scarborough after a few years away working. He enjoys studying one module at a time because it relieves the pressure of getting back into study.
The block structure of my course is fantastic. It allows me to work part-time in a bar and still pursue sport and my hobbies.
