International Law student's ‘Go Abroad’ experience

International Law student's ‘Go Abroad’ experience

Natalia wanted to expand and enhance her knowledge, skill set, international experience and cultural awareness in addition to her International Law degree. Natalia says the Go Abroad team’s support in helping her find accommodation and settle in to her placement abroad was “extraordinary”, despite the pandemic.

Natalia chose to study in Prague, Czech Republic, at Charles University. Her main goal was to learn a new language within a year as well as improving her future employability opportunities. During her year abroad, Natalia met new people from all around Europe and experienced new cultures. Going abroad enabled her to leave her comfort zone where she did not speak the language and didn’t know anyone, allowing her to think more broadly and gain confidence

I now feel more comfortable with being challenged, thanks to the time I spent in Prague.
