Many of the university’s undergraduate courses offer the opportunity to undertake an optional additional year gaining experience on a work internship/placement, in the UK or abroad. Our Careers and Experience Team is here to support you during the process of applying for a place.
For his placement, Hameed Abdelbaky was at the largest UK based manufacturing facility for the leading Japanese automotive company DENSO. His role focused on automation of the manufacturing process and trying to give the company a leading edge in the industry.
Placements are an essential part of our pre-registration nursing courses enabling students to meet the Future Nurse Standards and become eligible to apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
