Event details

Step into the world of FAiR: Frugal Artist-in-Residence, a vibrant exhibition exploring the connections between art, community and environmental awareness through playful, co-creative practices.

Inspired by collaborative work with coastal communities in Sarawak, the showcase brings together murals, cyanotype prints, botanical artworks, stories and interactive installations that celebrate local knowledge and care for nature. The exhibition will also feature collaborative artworks from participating Coventry schools and artist-in-residence James Robinson.

Join us for the exhibition launch to:

  • Experience the artworks up close and meet the artists, researchers and students behind the project.
  • Participate in live activities where you can contribute your own creative responses to themes of sustainability and culture.
  • Contribute to our research into arts, science and community collaborations.

Whether you are curious about environmental art or simply looking for an inspiring experience, this exhibition invites everyone to explore, reflect and create together.

The exhibition will run throughout August 2026.
