Hong Guo

Biography

Dr Hong Guo is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at Coventry University, UK. She received her PhD degree from Nottingham Trent University, UK, and her MEng Diploma from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, and her BSc degree from Henan University of Science and Technology, Luoyang, China.
She has been working as a fulltime academic staff over 20 years in a number of universities worldwide, and received The Award of Excellence in Teaching at Henan University of Science and Technology, China, and has been awarded the Teaching Excellence Award at Coventry University, UK. She has made many publications in internationally recognised journals and conferences proceedings, and organised and chaired IEEE sponsored conferences.
 

Her current research areas include Software Quality Management, Software Process Assessment and Improvement, Object-Oriented Technologies, Intelligent Biomedical Systems, E-commerce applications, Distributed Systems, Information Security
