Biography:

Suresh’s research interests are in the linkages between International Business, the Institutional environment and the Geopolitical context of doing business. He has published on these themes within the context of states seeking resources. He also has an interest in development of web based learning solutions for education, having been advisor to several widely used solutions in strategic management and International Business education

He is currently the Principal investigator of a project that will see the development of a web-based Global Management system. He is also working on a project, analysing the route to market for the Wheelchair Stability Assessment System (WheelSAS) project at the HDTI institute in the University. More recently, he has been developing an interest in sustainable and ethical business strategies, particularly within emerging markets

With over 18 years of experiencing business within an international context, Suresh has lived or worked across India, Kenya, Nigeria, Oman and the UK. He has also taught at Universities in Portugal and India

He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of the Academy of International Business

Before joining the University, Suresh worked for over 11 years in the Telecommunication Industry in Oman and India as well being a strategy consultant for a consultancy firm

Outside of the University, Suresh is on the board of a management consultancy firm as well as being an adviser to an International Trading house
