John Burns

Biography

John has had animation work shown at the Astrium Space Technology Conference, Space Room, The Science Museum, London Oct 2010 and at Farnborough Airshow between 2007-2009. He has had exhibitions in Blackburn, The Lake District, Birmingham (MAC), Bath, Wardour Street, London, Frankfurt, and Paris individually and within groups.

John has also had research and practice work published online in Screenworks website, Intellect publisher and Bristol University 2007; TRACEY Online Journal of Drawing, Loughborough University 2009; and won prizes with work for Re-Animate, animation festival and exhibition, Oriel-Davies Galleries, Powys 2010. John is also the producer and director of animated and printed material in support of the Cogent Computing Group, School of Engineering, Coventry University including ‘Daisies on Mars’ and Remote Sensing films and publication.
