Entrance to the John Laing building at the Coventry University Campus

Sir John Laing Building

Taking up two storeys, the Sir John Laing Building is on Much Park Street, in between both the Richard Crossman and Alison Gingell Buildings. It is easily identified by its dark green exterior framework.

The building is predominantly home to facilities for students on courses relating to construction and includes labs dedicated to the analysis of concrete and materials, geotechnics and hydraulics, empowering students to familiarise themselves with the kind of equipment used in the world of work.

The architectural technology lab doubles as a high-spec lab with computers offering AutoCAD, Revit and Sketchup software as standard, alongside informal study space for solo or group work.
