Coventry University is planning to transform areas of its city centre campus into green spaces and enhance views of Coventry Cathedral with an ambitious redevelopment programme, which is now underway.


“We Are Warriors” African Cultural Night Event

A colourful display of African culture and heritage in spectacular performances including traditional dance, poetry and music. Come and enjoy food from across the continent, make friends and experience different cultures. The event aims to set a positive expectation for more vibrant activities and events planned in the year of Culture. All are welcome.


The Show Windows Event

As part of Coventry UK City of Culture 2021, artists, designers, architects and makers are transforming Coventry city centre, turning shop windows into portals to fantasy worlds and mindscapes.


The Walk Event

The Walk is an international arts festival meets endurance event. Little Amal will travel 8,000km to focus awareness on the refugee crisis. She will travel through 8 countries, welcomed by hundreds of cultural events in cities, towns and villages all along her route. The length and sheer size of the challenge is capturing imaginations even before her first step.

About the Centre for Fluid and Complex Systems

The flow of complex fluids and mixtures of fluids is at the heart of many industries. Our research focuses on novel measurement techniques for complex and multi-component flows, improving uncertainty through sensor diagnostics and close-coupling of modelling and measurement to allow end users to optimise their processes.
