This event forms part of Coventry University's Festival for Social Science 2025.
The event will share findings from the Health Access for Refugees and Asylum Seekers Programme (HARP) pilot, which was carried out by our Research Centre for Peace and Security in collaboration with Coventry City Council’s Migration Team.
The pilot explored the healthcare barriers faced by refugees and asylum seekers in Coventry and some of the successful ways these challenges can be reduced. The aim is to help other refugee and asylum seeker support services, as well as healthcare providers, see how they can improve access to healthcare using insights from the research.
Alongside presentations showcasing research, there will be pop-up stalls for practitioners to connect with each other, learn from the project and exchange ideas.
