This masterclass forms part of a series of events run by Coventry University's Clean Futures Catalyst programme.
Clean Futures is collaborating with Auditel, an established carbon solutions organisation in the UK, to offer SMEs in the West Midlands transport sector and its supply chain this high value masterclass.
SMEs will come away from the Masterclass with an intermediate knowledge of carbon and net zero, an ability to carry out basic calculations, knowledge of their organisations top line environmental impact and an action plan for decarbonisation of their organisation.
SMEs should be able to speak with authority on their environmental impact and make informed decisions about decarbonisation strategies. The Masterclass should give them confidence to bid for contracts that demand declaration of a bidder’s environmental impact as part of the tender process, therefore supporting business growth.
SMEs will also be equipped to make use of grants and support initiatives that are available to help them deliver on their sustainability targets.
Many organisations believe the changes that they will have to make to achieve net zero carbon emissions will be time-consuming, costly and with all the conflicting information, a little daunting. This is far from the truth, and there are many incentives to help businesses become greener and leaner without costing the earth.
