Join us for this exciting collaboration between Women-Space and the Centre for Global Learning, Coventry University for a day of full of discussion, resources and warm community all designed to provide you with the tools to progress your leadership career.
Designed for women working in the university sector, from your own inner critic and sense of being an imposter to intersectional sexism, we will begin the day by exploring all the things that hold women back. We then move into three ways to tackle these challenges and embrace the opportunities that come your way: building self-belief and self-esteem; finding and making the time you need; and how to create a diverse and global professional network and sponsors to enable your progression.
We are making no charge for this day. Funding is kindly provided by the British Council/Going Global Partnerships/Gender Equality Call, TASHBEEK project in collaboration between Coventry University Centre for Global Learning and Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritimes.
We are pleased to provide catering throughout the event, including lunch and coffee breaks. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments and network during scheduled break.
The workshop is led by Professor Christina Hughes, Founder and CEO of Women-Space. Professor of Women & Gender. Executive experience in UK universities. Named “Woman of Influence 2023”.
