Women remain underrepresented in the realms of innovation and start-up entrepreneurship. Despite the potential for gender-integrated approaches to product design, technology, and innovation to unlock new markets and tackle global challenges, progress is lacking.
To confront this issue, a Working Group (WG) focused on Gendered Responsive Smart Innovation and Entrepreneurship has been established. This initiative aims to promote gender-inclusive innovation within the EU and draws on insights from the ongoing Gendered Innovation Living Labs (GILL) project.
This relaunched group is open to all advocating for cultural shifts in innovation. We embrace diverse perspectives, including those on intersectionality and gender-responsive innovation from various fields. As a committee member, you'll engage in open knowledge sharing and collaborate with international peers to set priorities, actions, and challenges for the Working Group.
